Masonry Construction by CLB Fences

CLB Fences, takes pride in the construction and repairs of masonry walls and structures of cement in general, we take the following steps in making sure all our work is to code:

A) We will initially take pictures of the area to be enclosed by the structures.

B) We work with a Licensed Engineer, to certify all documentation to be presented to any building department.

C) All inspections for footing/tie beam/finals are guaranteed by us to pass in most cases on its first inspection by the assigned building and zoning departments in the county.

In stating the above, whenever there is a project that involves the addition to a room in a home or a business, we offer the same process, our jobs are handled by experienced professionals in the industry.

We always provide all materials as required by building codes, and we go the extra mile on all needed materials, such as re-bars, concrete for all footing, tie-beam, columns, and our plans will always be certified by local engineers, to expedite in a smoother permit application.

NOTE: It is important to point out the issues that sometimes we will encounter when building a wall, or even a wood fence, in some specific cases those homes that are located at intersections, where vision may be affected by the structures, it is important for the client to understand rules and regulations, it simply will avoid misunderstandings on our part and will make the process of building, a smoother transition, for instance, In Miami Dade County regulations, there is a "Safe Sight Triangle Issue", which will not allow a homeowner to build a structure that will obstruct the view from a driver's perspective when coming up on a corner to make a specific turn. Sometimes, we are able to get a waiver from officials in Public Works sector, in other it will not be allowed.

In those specific cases where a waiver can not be obtained, the only option is a structure no higher than 2 1/2 feet tall from the ground up, at which point the option is given to place columms, every certain distance, this is legal and also not to be objected by the respective buildning and zoning department. We note that the process in these cases can be prolonged, by weeks at a time.
